Question: Briefly, in a short paragraph, discuss the use of pronouns with respect to sentence and speaker meaning. Use at least one sentence from one of the stories (repeated below) to illustrate your points. Specify the sentence meaning and the intended speaker meaning of the sentence.

Six-year-old's story:

What I see is, he's walking and he pulled the wallet, and then he let go by accident. The wallet snapped, and then he chases him and then he tries to pull the coat and then they end up kicking and hitting and he tried to get out and then he bumps into that and all the things come out.

Adult's story:

Tom was walking down the street and a robber tried to steal his wallet, which was on an elastic. And once the robber found out that he couldn't take the wallet from Tom because it was on an elastic, he let go of it, and it ended up hitting Tom in the face. Tom chased after the robber and when he caught up with the robber, he grabbed a hold of his jacket and the robber ended up wiggling out of his jacket, which then flew back and hit Tom, and he got all tangled up in the jacket - in the robber's jacket - and ran into a telephone pole.
