The phrase "politicization of the judiciary process" refers to a situation where judges, instead of merely adjudicating on matters brought before them, start to overstep their boundaries and make decisions on issues that are traditionally within the purview of other branches of government, such as the legislature. This could be due to a variety of reasons, such as personal beliefs, political pressure, or societal influence. The concern here is that this could potentially undermine the separation of powers principle, which is a fundamental aspect of democratic governance. This principle ensures that no single branch of government has absolute power, thereby maintaining a balance and preventing the abuse of power. When judges start to make decisions on legislative matters, it blurs the lines between the judiciary and the legislature, potentially leading to a concentration of power and a disruption of this balance.
