Question 1: Is Bruce Barton's 1925 book The Man Nobody Knows a "modern" interpretation of Jesus? Or is it another example of getting back to that "old time religion"? Historians, citing Prohibition and the Ku Klux Klan, see the 1920s as a revolt against modern urban life.
