In order to learn about a variety of leadership styles and to compare them to your own, you need to do the following:

Observe TWO human service meetings (face to face OR by observation of meetings online).

-The type of meeting that you are to observe maybe: Advisory Board, Staff, Project planning, Emergency, Strategic Planning, Task Force,

LeadershipWritten Report: The written report should include the following information:

-Part I - a SWOT analysis regarding your observation.

-Perceptions of the leadership style exhibited in the meetings, specifically addressing the flow of the agenda including the format and content, reaction of participants.

- Which theory(s) of leadership did you observe in the meetings which you may have discussed in this class or in previous classes at Judson University?

-Discuss the style of leadership observed - how does it compare to your own leadership style?

-Address what you have learned about the task of leading a meeting from observing this meeting.

-What are two strategies will consider using when conducting a meeting based on what was observed?
