Case Study: Dr. Jones has asked you to join her to meet with Mary Anderson and her family. Mrs. Anderson, 72, has recently been tested for uterine cancer and her results have come back positive for early stage disease. Dr. Jones would like to tell Mrs. Anderson about this diagnosis, what it means and what strategies can be used to treat and, possibly cure the condition. This will include surgery, chemotherapy and, possibly, radiotherapy. Dr. Jones is concerned about how Mrs. Anderson will receive the news and how her family will react as well.
