This paper should be at least 10 to 12 pages in length (not including a reference page), though more space may be needed depending on the case you select. In your paper, you must cover and will be graded on your discussion of the following six issues related to your case/incident:
1) The background of the victims and offenders in the case
2) The specific events alleged to have occurred in the case
3) The technical ingenuity or concerns raised by their activities
4) The impact the offense had on justice system processing for police, prosecutors, and legislators locally and globally at the time
5) Any punishments/fines/sanctions the offender received for their actions
6) Where are both the victim and offender now and how the incident impacted policy and practice today
In the event your case did not lead to an arrest or a failed prosecution, please explain why and how this occurred and what, if any, changes have been made to decrease the likelihood of future failures.
Your paper should also be well sourced, drawing from media sources, academic journals/research, government records, and any other relevant materials you can find. You must draw from and cite from course materials and concepts. Your paper should be double-spaced, 12 point, Times New Roman font with one-inch margins, and page numbers either at the top or bottom of the right-hand side of the page.
