Task:
Write a report of three pages discussing the Small World phenomenon. Provide examples of it occurring in real life, analysing what they provide in terms of information.
Layout & Format:
This assignment is to be 3 pages. This is to be in PDF Format ONLY.
It must have standard margins, single spacing, and no more than one line gap between paragraphs. Arial/Helvetica fonts only, size 12 for the content.
You should include your name and student number on the TOP LEFT HAND Side only. Please name all files with your FAN: e.g. FAN_RR4_ReportName
Assessment:
Assessment will include peer assessment -
Each student will assess their own submission and that of five assigned peers, out of 100. These grades will then be averaged, and scaled to out of how many have reviewed - this is done automatically on FLO.
The tutors also add in their grade, and review all the assessed grades for fairness.
This assignment is worth 6% of your overall grade.
Reviewing & Grading:
You are expected to grade in three sections:
- Content quality, analysis & appropriate relevance to topic - 4%
How much have they researched what the topic requires, and how much analysis have they done?
- Referencing standard - 1%
Have they used at least 4 sources of good quality (Wikipedia is not acceptable)?
- Formatting, amount & layout - 1%
Have they put in a reasonable effort? Does it meet the formatting & layout requirements?
You are also expected to provide 1 - 2 sentences of commenting per section. Turnitin
