Assignment: Final Paper Outline

In higher education, the final paper allows the student to present in his or her words the interpretation of the subject matter by picking a company and then researching the particular discussion issues gained from the course. The final paper is not to be a major task but a capstone of information learned during the course.The student needs to pick a company that is used to address the papers sections.

Your ability to create the paper and incorporate a company's methods for addressing the sections listed belowis required. The paper must be a minimum of five (5) pages. In addition, a chart must be incorporated and a discussion to explain the importance of the chart (chart's size is to be ¼ of the page). The paper must not be composed of bullets but is to be a narrative document with references for supporting the discussion. The chart's discussions will add 1-2 pages resulting in supporting the final paper a minimum of 6-7 pages, total paper length (narrative portion).

The paper must read as a single document, meeting APA requirements and addressing the grading items listed in the Rubric located in Moodle. The cover sheet is to accompany the paper and the paper is to reflect your work. Turning in multiple submissions, emailing me submissions or late submissions will not be accepted and a grade of "O" will be assigned.

If the term paper is late a grade of "0" will be recorded receiving a zero! The final paper experience is a regular semester course and students do receive a grade for this paper which is worth 20% of the student's grade. The paper must be uploaded on or before the date. Nosubmissions will be accepted after the due date. All papers submitted after the due date will receive a grade of "0". In addition, the student is to create a3 slide presentation is to be presented in classthat is limited to5-10 minutes-highlights the key points of your paper. Graduating seniors have a different due date.

The student must complete four sections:

1) Introduction:

+ Discuss the company's mission and goals
+ Provide background information
+ Discuss corporate structure
+ Discuss decision structure
+ State the focus of the paper
+ Significance of the Study

2) Discussion:

+ Review of the literature
+ Pick a topic that is relative to the topic discussed in class
+ Discuss probability for success or failure
+ Discuss the risks associated with the business
+Review of variables to be investigated

3) Present you findings:

+ Provide a summary of the articles
+ Indicate any trends that the company may employ
+ Include the corporate strategy
+ Provide a relative chart and provide explanation to support the chart (REQUIRED)
+ Presentation of your findings to support your discussion

4) Conclusion

+ Summary of the articles-shortandsweet
+ Discussion of Findings
+ Conclusions
+ Recommendations.
