One method to fully understand the impact federal policy can have in the healthcare arena is to research what effect the information will have in your career area.

Choose a major federal policy initiative or piece of legislation that affects healthcare IT, and describe the impact that it has had or will likely have in the future. Please download a copy of the initiative or legislation and include in your response.

2. Complete an internet search for quality data and reviews on one or more local hospitals. Look for data on specific hospital measures, not customer opinions. As you conduct your research, you may find that local data is difficult to come by. If this is the case, try searching for state data.
