Sarah decided it was time to sell her car and get a new one. However, she had to sell her current car so she could afford to buy a new one.?  She placed an ad on a local online marketplace (similar to Kijii or Craig's List) as follows:

2010 Honda Accord for Sale!

Price: $5,000

This offer expires in 14 days.

  • The next day, February 2, Sarah's friend, Caleb saw the advertisement and sent her a Facebook message saying  saw your ad and I'd like to buy your car. Let know how you want to be paid".
  • February 4, Michael saw the ad and sent an email t....@com ?saying he would like to buy the car and asked if he could break the $5,000 into 3 payments over 3 months.
  • February 4, Paul saw the ad and sent an email t....@com?saying he wanted to buy the car and could send her the money the same day. Unfortunately, Sarah never saw Paul's email because it went into her Spam folder.
  • February 6, Sarah changed her mind about getting a new car and removed the listing for her car. She changed the wording to say "Offer has been revoked."
  • February 7, Sarah emailed Caleb and Michael and told them that she was no longer selling her car.
