Problem

I need help writing a research paper and I have writer's block. the introduction of my paper, has to first provide a breif definition and description of OUD, including current statistics related to prevalence rates. Then could highlight the importance of your topic by discussing how OUD impacts individuals, families, communities, and society as a whole. Then you might discuss how these impacts demonstrate the need for effective treatment and briefly summarize some of the common treatment methods (other than MAT for now). Then you could introduce MAT as a possible treatment to consider for those individuals who don't respond to traditional treatment methods. You could conclude your introduction by identifying some the specific groups that may benefit from information on this topic and explain how society as a whole may benefit from a deeper understanding of the topic.

In the body of your paper, you could discuss the research on the efficacy of some of the medications commonly used in MAT for OUD, such as methadone, buprenorphine (e.g., Suboxone), Naltrexone (e.g., Vivitrol)

You might consider organizing the body of your paper by using headings for each specific treatment type. You might also consider discussing some of the new research on vaccines for treating OUD. See here and here for some information on this.In your conclusion section, you could critically evaluate the current state of the research on this topic, suggest future research that could be conducted on this topic, and explain how this research may benefit specific groups and society as a whole.
