If you have your own topic that you are interested in, you will need to first seek written approval from the Lecturer in Charge (LIC).

Purpose

Discuss the merits and disadvantages of voluntary industry self-regulation as an approach to providing health warnings for consumers on alcohol containers. In addressing this topic, you will need to discuss the literature about voluntary vs mandatory approaches to public health regulation as well as the circumstances in which the voluntary scheme was introduced and the research evidence about its effectiveness.

The main reason behind the government introducing the warning on the health labels had been a warning that was provided by an Independent Review of Food Labelling Law and Policy. The main recommendation had been that there be a label indicating the effect that alcohol has on the health of the pregnant woman and the foetus. However, it was found that the alcohol and beverages industry in the country was already providing health warnings on the label of their bottles meant for the general audience.

Hi I have read the solution and i do not want to have any modifications in my assignment my tutor asked us to have changes in the work by university end which is-1) merits and demerits of this warning scheme are not discussed 2) please add references in the introduction part 3) stakeholders- you have written about the stakeholders that would be impacted by the labelling of the bottle but what we need to mention is the stakeholders who played the role in influencing this law and what are the responsibilities Thanks Got the perfect work as demanded by my teacher. I am grateful to ExpertsMind and their tutors who have done such a good work with all the precisions kept in mind. if any of the requirement had been missed I would have lost almost 50% of the total marks. But as your name suggests the tutors are really genius as they didn't miss a single thing from the requirement and provided me with the best answers which made me score 100%. Thanks for such hard work and efforts.

6) critique the roles and responsibilities of the major stakeholders and what role they have played in this scheme 7) analyse and explain whether the national laws are same of the international laws related to this scheme or is there any difference? 8) explanation of all the strategies used in the implementation of this scheme 9) conclusion- sumaary of key points and arguments and discussion of future implications Please try to be specific as the word limit is less and there are many points that need to be discussed. Try to use as much references and evidences as you can and as it is a legal assignment so try to use legal policies and laws more. Thanks

Hi I want you to include all these main points in my assignment 1) basically in this task, we have to discuss a voluntary health warning scheme for alcohol containers which was implemented in australia in 2011. We have to discuss the merits and demerits of this voluntary industry self regulation as an approach to providing the health warnings and then we have to discuss the literature about voluntary vs mandatory approaches to public health regulations and the research evidence about its effectiveness 2) in the introduction part, rationale, purpose of this scheme and its structure must be included. 3) next is the background- in this part, historical development of this scheme, its nature and the scale of the health problems related to that must be discussed. Political and social context of the legislation must be included. Please use relevant examples to illustrate arguments. As this is the highest scoring part. 4) in the next step, explain and analyse the legislative and regulatory framework of this topic( laws made related to that till date) 5) analyse the legislation (laws) in the context of changes and improvements to publuc health outcomes
