Discuss the pros and cons of inheritance taxes. What functions do these taxes serve beyond the creation of government revenue? In your opinion, should these taxes be expanded, minimized, or eliminated?

In the United States, individuals are responsible for filing their own taxes. Should there be a government agency to do this for individuals? If not, why must people file themselves or hire a company to do so for them? What are the benefits and costs involved?

Recently, there have been several revenue-raising proposals. Discuss tax reform during recent years, as well as the roles that presidents have played in bringing about these changes. Which of these proposals do you think is sustainable and why?
