Introduction

Other than on-the-job training, case studies and situations are perhaps is one of best way to learn project management. Case studies allow the students to apply the knowledge learned in lectures. Case studies require that the students investigate what went right in the case, what went wrong, and what recommendations should be made to prevent these problems from reoccurring in the future.

In the attachment report, there are FOUR real case studies (Harold Kerzner, project management case studies), Almost all of the case studies are factual. In most circumstances, the cases and situations have been taken from the author's consulting practice.

Read carefully.
a. For each case study:

1. Discuss each case and determine what estimation method have been followed and justify your answers with evidence and keywords.

2 Did you think that this is the best method to cost estimation? Why (if yes or No)

Investigate what went right and what went wrong in each case

Discuss the project manager role in each case.

b. Write report as a detailed lesson learned report, what you have learned from each case studies showing your ability to develop a lesson learned report a as one of the main outputs for any project.
