According to Fla. Stat. Ann. § 47.011 (West), Chapter 47 is labeled "Venue", you can only seek legal action in the county the defendant lives, the place the crime took effect, or where the property involved in the case is located. Fla. Stat. Ann. $ 47.091 (West) states though that all courts have the power to change the venue, although filing fees will be due for filing in a new county.
