How does Nielsen determine who is watching what show? The determination comes from the data recorded in a journal by members of a Nielsen household. When a person begins to watch a show, he or she is supposed to log on. Computer vision researchers at the University of Florida are developing a people meter that uses computer image recognition to passively, silently, and automatically record who is watching each show. Discuss the potential for this electronic device to reduce bias in the Nielsen ratings. Are they any new problems that might be caused by this device?
In a pseudo NMOS inverter design the maximum Vol = 0.1 V. If VDD = 2.5 V, IVtI = 0.4 V, unCox = 4 upCox = 100 uA/V^2 , (W/L)n = 0.375 um/0.25 um, find: 1. The value of (W/L)p 2. Is it a maximum or a minimum value for the design.
Create a chart summarizing the details of the investment for both Bob and Lisa.
the microphone is used to measure the acoustic noise from an induction motor in an area of high electrical interference
Realize the storage circuits for N1 and N2 as describe in the design specification.
Calculate the earth loop impedance, minimum fault current (neglect the supply/earth impedance) and select an appropriate fuse for the circuit with reference.
A collector modulated transmitter has a supply voltage of 48 V and an average collector current of 600 mA. What is the input power to the transmitter. How much modulating signal power is needed to produce 100 percent modulation.
An analog voice signal that can vary over the range 0.50 mA is digitized by sampling it at 8 kHz. The first four sample values are 10, 21, 36, and 16 mA. Write the corresponding digital signal (a string of 1 and 0 bits) by using a 4-bit representa..
If the peak-peak voltage of a sinusoidal waveform extendsvertically 6.4 division and the oscilloscope vertical sensitivitywas set to 0.5 volts/division, what would be the reading of amultimeter using both the AC and DC scales
where the assigned loop current leaves the voltage source. If current leaves the voltage source at its positive terminal, the voltage would be positive and if it leaves the voltage source at its negative terminal, the voltage would be negative.
A load ZL is connected to the secondary of a linear transformer that is characterized by inductance's L1 = 1 H and L2 = 4 H and a unity coefficient of coupling. If w(omega) = 1000 rad/s, find the equivalent series network (R, L, and C values) seen..
If we use the PC-relative addressing mode, and want to allow control transfer between instructions up to 50 locations away, how many bits of a branch instruction are needed to specify the PC-relative offset
