"Aging" Please respond to the following:

  • From the self-assessment and e-Activity, discuss the overall manner in which your results from the self-assessment relate to the Nun Study. Next, choose two (2) strategies discussed in the video that you could implement in the next three (3) months to improve your wellness and longevity. Justify your response.

Everyone wants to live a long and healthy life but alot of folks don't want to take the necessary steps to stay healthy and live longer. When it came to the Nun study I notice it said the nuns who had high levels of folic acid showed little evidence of Alzheimer -like damage after death which could be due to folic acid protecting and keeping the brain healthy. I love vitamins and try to take them everyday for good health, there are some studies that say vitamins aren't that good for you and eating natural foods with vitamins and nutrients in them are better. Either way I still try my best to eat healthy, exercise and take a daily vitamin. I will admit I have a weakness for coffee and Pepsi, that caffeine is one stimulant that is truly hard to break.
