Assignment:

The first topic will be to discuss current conditions in the oil industry centered around oil prices. Discuss it from the demand side and the supply side (OPEC, OPEC+, US shale, Coronavirus, etc) and how it affects economies of oil producing countries.

Minimum of 2 pages and maximum of 4 pages, Word document, double spaced.

The second paper will be to research past viruses (Ebola, SARS, etc) and how they affect oil prices. How long did the viruses last, what damage was done to oil prices, how low did prices get, how long to recovery, any comparisons to what is happening today, etc.
