6. Define the 3 types of homicide discussed in the text and discuss the corpus delicti element.

7. Review your text and the Texas penal code. Discuss the difference between assault and battery. Have the two crimes been combined into one offense? If not, how are the crimes of assault and battery distinguished? Does their assault or battery crime law require the aggressor have the "present ability" to commit harm?
