This assessment task evaluates student's abil6ies, skills and knowledge without the aid of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Students are advised that the use of AI technologies to develop responses is strictly prohibited and may constitute student misconduct under the Student Code of Conduct.
Manuscript Presentation
Introduction: For this assignment, you are required to upload a video to the system that is between 10 to 15 minutes in length. The video should be a comprehensive overview and discussion of a peer-reviewed published scientific article related to assisted reproductive technologies in horses published within the last three years. Please contact your course coordinator once you have selected the manuscript.
For the video, you need to include footage of yourself speaking while navigating through the slide presentation. Think of this as a visual version of the research work performed by other authors but include your opinion about it as well. To ensure the completeness of the activity, the video must include the following sections:
- Cover: The cover section should include the basic information of the manuscript and your presentation as a student.
- Introduction: In this section, provide a brief background to help the audience understand the purpose of the study. Please cite references in the slides. i.e. (Flores-Bragulat et al., 2023)
- Aim: Clearly state the aim of the study.
- Experimental Design: Discuss the methodology used in the study.
- Results: Summarize the results of the study.
- Conclusion: Provide a conclusion based on the results of the study.
- Discussion: In this section, share your personal opinion on the outcome or design of the selected manuscript. It is expected that you reflect on the results and provide a critical analysis of the study's implications.
