1. You have researched the topic and now it's time to demonstrate your capacity to think anthropologically; what are your insights about your topic? What do your findings tell you about your topic? Did you identify any personal bias? Did you approach the topic holistically? What are the overlapping factors and significance to your topic (culture, economy, gender, politic, physical environment, etc.) how it started and how it developed over time.

• because I am writing about cultural practices from other cultures (ie western and south asian countries) (from an anthropological perspective) and comparing it to the marriage cultural practices in Qatar, I will need to conduct an interview with the younger and older generation to see how it has changed over time, don't worry so much about this area, as I will add in the results and compare later. all I need now is the research of the different practices/rituals of marriage in different cultures, how it started and developed ... and how it relates anthropologically.

1. please mention marriage in western cultures briefly, and focus more on the middle east, specifically the gulf, if you can find sources. as my research later will be focused on the qatari culture, therefore I want it to be as relevant yet also have something to compare it to. if you can find marriage rituals before (in qatar or middle east) and compare it to modern day it would be great.
