Case Study: Rick and Jessie Rice are in their early 30s and have been maried for over 10 years. They reside in upstate New York and are excitedly expecting their first child. Rick owns and Operates A+ Carwash, Inc., and Linda is a photographer for Adirondack.

When Rick arrives at the carwash he is surprised to be met by Gary Redding, one of his regular customers. "Gary," Rick says, "how's it going this morning?" "Terrible" exclaims Gary. "I brought my 1966 Chevy Camaro to be cleaned here yesterday. When I picked it up last night, look what I found » Rick examines the car and discovers that its paint job is severely damaged. "I don't know how this happened," Rick responds. " I purchase the highest quality cleaning fluids, and my employees are experienced and well trained." "Well I certainly didn't do anything to it" exclaims Gary. "My father bought this car brand new and left it to me when he died. It was his most prized possession. I take good care of it and never drive it in the winter. This was the original paint job, and now it's ruined" "Calm down, Gary," Rick replies, "here must be some explanation." "To me, this car was priceless! I'll be warning everyone I know to avoid this place! You'll be hearing from my attorney/" Gary shouts, as he slams the door of his car and drives away.
