This law assignment is covering the case of ASIC v Healey & Ors [2011] in which the directors of the company have been held for negligence of duty care in preparation and presenation of financial statements. The detailed case; involve and classifications of $1.5 billion debt as non-current liabilities and failed to disclose $ 1.75 billion gaurantee in the financial statements. The justice of federal court held that all the responsible officers of the company have violated the provisions of the Corporation Act, 2001 and they have breached the duty of care and diligence.
