Assessment
- Discuss the importance of various technologies used by brands for the promotion of products and service. You will examine the recent body of literature relating to adoption technology in the marketing field to substantiate your answer. (CLO3)
- Analyze the impact of using recent technologies in promoting product and service. Support your response with relevant examples. (CLO4)
- Propose a promotional campaign for an organization in UAE for the launch of their new product/service incorporating the latest technology adoption.
Your Terms of Reference:
You may structure your report in the following manner:
» Introduction: State the purpose of the report
» Literature review: Review the extant literature to discuss the importance of technology in Promotional Strategies Provide a synthesis of the discussion towards the end of the review section.
» Analysis Analyze major application of technology
» Recommendations & Conclusions: Your proposal of the right promotional strategy.
Number of words- 2000 (+/-250) : A good report will tie-in learnings from the readings, relevant and credible academic or business readings, class learnings, data and even your personal experience. High quality reports are effective, logical, relevant to the discussion on hand and cognizant of the flow of arguments. Quality contributions are also exemplified by good writing skills where the author takes care to present and structure the responses logically, clearly, coherently and as concisely as possible.
Assessment Format:
» Students are required to submit a research report of 2000 (+/-250) words excluding cover page, content page, and references.
» Use concise and coherent language
» Fully referenced using the APA referencing format, containing, citations referred within the text
» Citations should be relevant to the discussion points and not simply inserted for the sake of displaying citations.
» Follow line spacing of 2.0.
» Use the Times New Roman font size 12.
