Assignment:

Please make this into a paragraph and make it more detailed

After reading and describing my researcher's study, I have the following questions:

  1. What was the study's sample size and how were the ASD children chosen for the study's participants?
  2. Were the children with ASD selected for the study a representative sample of all the ASD children in the Greater Toronto Area?
  3. Did the researchers control for other variables that could impact how much physical activity kids with ASD engaged in, like health, access to safe play areas, or peer interactions?
  4. Did the study consider the gender of the children with ASD and whether it had any impact on their levels of physical activity?

To test the hypothesis, I suggest the following adjustments to the researcher's original method:

  • Increase the sample size to ensure that the results are more generalized.
  • Consider using a randomized controlled trial design to improve control for extraneous variables.
  • Include a control group of children with ASD to compare the results with children with typical development.
  • To ascertain the long-term effect of parental behaviours on children with ASD's levels of physical activity, think about including a follow-up measurement.
