Since Kamala Harris has served as Vice President, do you believe any women running for the presidential nomination in 2024 will not face the same the same obstacles as 2020? Discuss.

Discuss the gains and losses of the women's movement. Include a discussion of the obstacles women have faced in achieving equality through the various social movements of the 19th and 20th centuries. What was the focus of these various movements? Do women in the 21st Century face the same or different obstacles than their predecessors? What caused the failure of the Equal Rights' Amendment? How have interest groups advanced or impeded the advancement of women's issues?
