Question: Raising Self-Efficacy Form groups of three or four people and appoint one member as the spokesperson who will communicate your conclusions to the rest of the class:

1. Take a few minutes to think about something that you are currently trying to learn and having trouble with: for example, a subject you are having trouble with in school, learning a musical instrument, excelling in a sport, or learning a foreign language.

2. Take turns describing what you are trying to learn and how you have gone about it. After each person describes his or her "current learning challenge," as a team develop ways for this person to boost his or her self-efficacy for the challenge in question.

3. Each person then should take a few minutes to write down specific steps he or she can take based on the group's suggestions in Step 2.
