Discuss the current issues and challenges of tourism in South East Asia. You may need to understand each country in the region to be able to drive critical points for scholarly discussion.

In a country whose economy has faltered in recent times, tourism is a consistent success story. But experts say that Thailand's environment is already paying a steep price. Beaches are overcrowded, coral destroyed, and dumpsites filled to the brim with trash.
