I would like to discuss the current healthcare reform and the impact I believe that it has on the healthcare system. In my opinion, this reform has both positive and negative aspects that alter the healthcare landscape. One of the benefits I see is the elimination of insurance denials based on pre-existing conditions. This change ensures that individuals with existing health issues are not unfairly denied coverage. Additionally, the reform helps to control healthcare costs and expands the number of people with access to health coverage. This is particularly important in our society where many individuals have gig jobs, such as rideshare companies. Reforms like the Affordable Health Act make insurance more affordable for these individuals. However, one drawback I believe is the employer mandate, as some business owners may struggle to afford to provide health insurance coverage for their employees.
