In addition to reading the chapters and university resources recommended for this unit, use the CTU Library databases to locate at least 1 peer-reviewed article that addresses ethics and human subject protection in research. Incorporate key ideas from this source into your Discussion Board (DB) primary task response.

Consider the following in your post:

Establish what is meant by ethics in research and why it is important.
Elaborate on what the relationship is between ethical research and the protection of human subjects in research.
Evaluate why researchers must be aware of some of the histories that remain with people from events in the 20th century that led to the requirements in place today for conducting ethical research.
Offer your own appraisal of how the quest for social justice comes into the picture, given events in modern history that demonstrated a breach of ethical considerations by researchers.
