The school vice principal contacted her parents and suggested that she was likely suffering from an Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and should be placed on medication. Her parents are against medication and prefer a pill free approach because drug addiction is a known cycle within her family. Her mother is a newly recovering addict to opiates.
