II. Background

A. Historical Overview of Modern cryptosystems: mainly concerned about the message confidentiality, secret writing developed to steganography, and then developed cipher texts which were produced by classical cipher as well as some modern ciphers (Al-Vahed, 2011).

B. Historical Industry Overview: assignment of letters to music note at individual level, in 15th century, there was the development of manuscript rules which carried on secret correspondence using Cipher. By the 16th century complex cryptography systems were practically in use. Music symbols were also exploited by the cryptographers. This led to the evolution of Porta system which was in line with the music history (Eric, Sypher, Tibbetts, Rosenbaum, & Slater, 1979).

C. Current link between Modern Cryptosystems and industry Type: modern Cryptosystem impact the music industry with the aim of ensuring that security of music and privacy is enhanced through the modern technology and utilization of internet devices.
