Question: Assume you are a health service manager in an Australian public health organisation. The senior managers in your organisation require you to submit a report on how governance mechanisms in your organisation contribute to building trust with the consumers/ patients/ clients.Keeping this scenario in mind, please discuss the following:

I. The positioning of your health organisation and the patients, including the obligations and reporting mechanisms, within the Australian health system - federal, state, territory or local. Explain the major advantages and disadvantages in the positioning of your health organisation and patients that impact building of trust with the consumer/ patients/ clients.

II. Using theoretical concepts and frameworks of governance, explain the principles and practices of governance in your organisation that may facilitate or impede building of trust with the consumers/ patients/ clients.

III. On the basis of I and II, please recommend potential opportunities for improved governance mechanisms and trustworthy relationships with the consumers/patients/clients.2,500 words10% +/- word count/presentation time. • Have you justified the recommendations through discussing current work practices?

• Is the essay referenced with foundational and contemporary literature?

• Is the report presented well (spelling, grammar, citation and referencing, and layout)?
