Each individual will submit a 1,500 to 1,750 word paper that discusses the 2000 and 2004 and 2008 Presidential Elections.

At a minimum, your paper should address the following:

1. The Constitutional Issues that were part of the '00/'04 elections.

2. The political effect of the '00/'04 elections had on the '08 Election.

3. The role of the media in the process.

4. The effects of third parties on the outcome.

5. The role of special interest/advocacy groups in the process.

The 2000 and 2004 elections were arguably the most polarizing in modern history and the 2008 the most inspiring.
This is NOT an opinion paper, nor an opportunity to rant or be overly critical of either side.
If an individual would like to state their opinion(s), that is fine, however, should be included in their analysis, and not be a major part of the paper.
