Now that you've completed the observation above we will discuss "Stereotypes". Stereotype is defined as the overgeneralization of characteristics to a large human group and are often the basis for prejudice and discrimination.

a- You've probably had conversations in the past with friends or family about this topic. Think about the staff in some of the places that you frequent. What kinds of job-related (careers) stereotypes are you aware of? Thoroughly discuss 2.

b- Do you believe these stereotypes can negatively affect an individuals' job opportunities and advancement in their career? Thoroughly explain. You may use information from Chapter 3: Legislation and be sure to provide an example.
