Research your chosen social change agent to discuss and compare how their actions and values align with, or differ from, social work values and ethics. You are encouraged to adhere to the following structure:

Introduction

Description of the social issue that your chosen activist is involved with. You may choose to explore statistics and history to provide context for the social issue. Ensure you engage with academic literature to discuss key concepts
Discussion of the values and actions taken by the social change agent and how they are effecting change. For this section, you may need to draw on non-academic sources such as media reports and the activist's website, campaign material and social media. Please ensure you cite these sources according to APA 7th (the ACU Library provides useful referencing guides). Also be aware that these non-scholarly sources do not count towards the minimum of three academic sources required for this essay
Analyse how these actions align with or differ from social work values and ethics (use academic social work literature and the AASW Code of Ethics)

Conclusion

Your essay must also be fully referenced using APA 7th Edition referencing style. A minimum of three academic references for example, journal articles, books and/or reports are required for this submission. Please cite the original source when referencing lecture material.
