Swinging Bowl, serves more than 300 thousands meals annually in over 20 restaurants across the Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia. Currently, it purchases raw materials from 10 countries, which is quite a challenging task, due to the short-shelf life of the products. As part of the company's approach on quality management, its purchasing personnel travel around the world to find, evaluate, check and develop suppliers. All suppliers must abide to the company's food standards, which typically exceed FDA and other industry standards. The company expects continuous improvement in durable relationships that increase quality and reduce costs.
