In the Managed Care and Fee for Service in the Government Setting lecture (Module 5-Unit 4 Download Module 5-Unit 4), slide 14 states, "As of July 2021, 41 states use a capitated managed care model to deliver services in Medicaid". Provide an argument for or against abandoning the fee for service model and relying exclusively on managed care corporations to deliver health care to Medicaid recipients. In your argument you should include the rationale for your position, any data points that support your position, and the benefits of the approach for which you argue.

"Possible Solutions for the Future" The list includes measures that could be taken in the event of another pandemic or health care emergency that disproportionately affects nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
