  1. Begin by selecting one of the four primary agents of socialization--as defined by your textbook--that you feel has been particularly critical you learning and internalizing your culture (please note that you don't have to select family here, there are others), and explain how/why.
  2. Second, select an agent of socialization which either was not discussed in the text book or was only briefly mentioned (i.e., not one of the four major agents of socialization, as defined by the textbook). Explain why they were/are important to your socialization.
  3. Then, select one of the four theories discussed in the chapter (Psychoanalytic Theory by Freud, Mind, Self, and Society by Mead, Dramaturgy by Goffman, or The Looking-Glass Self by Cooley), and use it to explain how the agents of socialization from the first and second parts of this discussion socialized you into your culture.
