This organizational behavior scenario was created by us but please help us improve the story to be relatable with the 5 OBs.

Mr. Lucifer, the new HR Manager was appointed by family relationship of shareholders and not by his position requirement or skills.  

His harsh disciplined and management style resulted in high turnover, low motivation, low company citizenship behaviour within the department.  

However, the board of directors do not care.

The Issues are as follows:

  • Declined annual leave
  • Don't follow the company policy, or suddenly changed by his thought
  • Decision inconsistincies
  • Making conflict. Told a normal staff to cancel benefit of his enemy (management level) in the company.
  • High turnover and staff resignation
