Question: Martha Naive is excited to be traveling abroad for the first time by Air Reckless. She books a two week all-inclusive stay at the renowned Traffic Resort on an exotic Island called Cannabis Sativa. As she is about to leave work on the day before the journey, her Boss Mr. Shady, the manager of HamsRUs, where Martha is employed, approaches her and asked her to take an order of smoked dried comfort packages for a student studying at Light it Up College on Cannabis Sativa. He gives Martha two cold packages, sealed and taped over. As Martha tries to clear security upon departure from her local airport she is searched by the guards and the packages are found to be filled with dried compressed marijuana leaves. She is detained and charged with being in possession of a prohibited drug contrary to S.5 of the local Drugs (Prevention and Misuse) Act 2019. She said she thought the packages both contained hams and sausages. Discuss Martha's liability, if any.
