Discuss the implications of a coming technological Singularity, as described in the lesson (and whatever else you know). According to the lesson, as well as anything else you know, what are the hopes held by the proponents of this breakthrough? What are the different kinds of concerns held by those who fear that it will happen? Explain clearly the way both those who look forward to it and those who dread it think about it.
