The world is facing a food crisis of unprecedented proportions, the largest in modern history.

According to the 2022 edition of "The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World" report, global hunger numbers rose to as many as 828 million in 2021. This is an increase of about 46 million since 2020 and 150 million since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Ukraine war has also disrupted international supply chains and pushed up the prices of food. This comes as supply chains had already been adversely affected by increasingly frequent extreme climate events.

Singapore has also been buttressing its food security and trying to ensure resiliency of its food supply. Singapore's efforts in this regard are however not without its challenges and limitations.

i) Considering the factors which have caused and/or contributed to the global food crisis, discuss how this crisis has impacted the Sustainable Development Goal ("SDG") 2 (Zero Hunger) and any other two SDGs.

ii) Appraise Singapore's efforts to buttress its food security and ensure food supply resiliency, highlighting any challenges and limitations which Singapore faces regarding this and recommend how Singapore can overcome these challenges and limitations.
