Task

A. Using the cultural dimensions model studied in class (Hofstede is recommended) as well as any other reading, create a presentation in which you select some type of communication, i.e. a print or television/internet advert and:

a. Critically analyze the sample and how it reflects the culture in and for which it was created.

b. Discuss how successful/unsuccessful this sample would be in your own culture and why, using the models and readings from class.

c. Conclude with a discussion on how you would adapt this sample for use in your culture or, in the case where you believe it would be impossible to adapt, explain why and suggest an alternative that would be more culturally appropriate.

B. Your work should take the form of a Power Point slide deck with references, a report outlining your findings, and an oral presentation.
