Questions: Imagine two home builders developing two new subdivisions. Builder A constructs tract homes, very similar, if not identical, to one another. There are only one or two floor plans from which to choose for these quickly built homes. Builder B builds custom homes, each individually designed and constructed based on the needs and desires of the individual homeowners. Wr a three-paragraph about these two builders. 1. In the first paragraph, create two different brand names and taglines for the two different builders. In this paragraph, explain the reasons for these different brands.2. The second paragraph focuses on pricing, although you do not need to determine specific prices for the homes. How will profits be determined for the two companies (or for any company)? Determine and explain a pricing objective strategy for each builder (profit maximization, volume maximization, survival pricing). Discuss how important price sensitivity and elasticity is for each one of the construction firms, and then offer one pricing tactics for each builder. In the third paragraph, discuss the promotion/distribution of homes for each builder from a strategy point of view.
