Instructions
Review the Psychology Counseling Theories information about counseling theories then select two theories to explore further. Using the Chart attached template answer the following questions in a separate word document.
1. Title: Name of Theory
2. Remember: List the basic tenants of the theory and key information.
3. Understand: Identify the key components that would determine if this theory was applied with efficacy.
4. Apply: Discuss how a school counselor would use this theory.
5. Analyze: Describe the strengths and limitations of this theory.
6. Evaluate: Determine whether this theory is appropriate for use in school counseling and justify your stand.
7. Create: Create a scenario where this theory would be a good approach. Describe the client or situation and explain how the counselor applies the theory.
