First, I want to discuss my habitual unconscious reaction to change and the impact this reaction has on my life. I can differentiate two different reactions according to the kind of change. If it is an expected change, my reaction is usually proactive, dynamic and optimistic. However, when new unexpected changes occur in the process of this expected change, my unconscious reaction is one of resistance and I am usually pessimistic. Based on the reasons employees resist change suggested by Procsi (Procsi.com, n.d.), I identify my reasons for resistance to change as a change in job role and fear of the. . .
