Politics is everywhere and government touches many areas of our life. Research a government law or regulation that people may not realize is law. Examples could include taxes (e.g. how much do we pay at the fuel pump for taxes or on a vehicle), where do most government revenues originate (local, schools, states, national), food regulations such as prohibiting unpasteurized milk consumption or selling mother's milk, handling rattlesnakes or selling them, getting a tattoo for one's child, speeding one mile per hour over the limit, noodling, Girl Scouts selling cookies without a license, farmers selling eggs at open market without license, driving a vehicle barefoot, flashing headlights at oncoming traffic to warn them of traffic officers, letting one's house cat roam outside without a lease, having rabbits or ducks in cities for pets, picking oranges along the highway in Florida, picking up sea shells on beaches, etc. There are many examples and you can contact me for more.
