Question 1: Isn't it surprising that since 18th century to our day's women are portrayed as irrational and emotional while men are considered to be balanced and knowledgeable individuals? Gender stereotyping remains entrenched in society in spite of the many legal, cultural and intellectual challenges that have called it into question.

Describe some examples of how this stereotype exhibits itself in modern American business and/or politics.

Question 2: Labor-oriented political parties and labor unions had become major forces influencing wages and working conditions by the end of the 19th century. By 2010, there were 12% unionized workers in the US.
