Research Study Instructions:

Select a research topic related to a topic of the course. You will then carry out a research study in your community to identify the perception, attitudes or opinions on the topic. The data will be collected through an electronic questionnaire and the findings will be shown through a digital presentation (for example, Power Point).

1. Select one of the following topics:

1. Diet and its relationship with heart disease.
2. Exercise and work and their relationship with states of stress.
3. Smoking habit and its relationship with health.
4. Alcohol habit and its effect on pregnant women.
5. Use of illicit drugs by individuals and their age and prevention mechanisms.
6. AIDS in elderly people. How is knowledge and understanding of the community of their risk and prevention behaviors acquired?
7. Community knowledge about the effect of lifestyles on health long-term.
8. Use of anabolic among the youth of your community and its effects on health physical and emotional.
9. Genetically modified (transgenic) foods and knowledge that has the community about them and their effects on health.
10. Energy drinks and colas (sodas) and their effects on health.
11.Organic food and its effects on health and economy.
12. Sexually transmitted diseases and their prevention.
13. Food and exercise and its relationship with obesity.
14. Metabolic syndrome: what it is, what effects it has on health, how to prevent it.
15. Video games and their relationship with physical inactivity in adolescents.

2. You must look for information related to the selected topic in the readings of the course and internet, professional articles, course units, databases or other sources of information to strengthen or expand the information.

3. Make a digitized presentation in Power Point or another similar program with a minimum of 10 templates.

4. Select a community close to you, from at least ten to twelve (10-12) people and develops a small survey of ten to twelve (10-12) questions, for you to explore with these people from the community that you have selected, What knowledge do you have on the subject (You can work on it through social networks) social).

5. You must design an electronic questionnaire through Google Forms:

7. At the end of the questionnaire, you must share the access link in the template of the study questions.

8. The premises or questions that you develop for the survey must include data demographics such as gender, education or academic degree, marital status, rural or urban residence, profession or occupation. Then include five to six (5-6)questions to explore the knowledge that the person has on the topic. He questionnaire is anonymous (do not mention names) identify the forms completed by numbers. For example, person 1, person 2, person 3, etc.

9. The results of the study will be presented by means of graphs or tables in the digitized presentation.
